Inflation Reduction Act of 2022: Key Federal Tax Provisions

CATEGORY: Taxation
COURSE ID: W756T, VERSION 1.00
(1)
  Webinar
2 CPE Credits
Level: Update
After months of debate and uncertainty, the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 has become reality. While the bill includes significant provisions that will impact large (or publicly owned) corporations such as the 15% corporate alternative minimum tax and 1% excise on stock buybacks, it also contains a multitude of environmental and green energy tax credits that will benefit individual and small business taxpayers. The legislation also provides additional resources to IRS, and tinkers (again) with the premium tax credit, the excess business loss rules of IRC Sec. 461(l), and more. This webinar will tackle the federal tax implications of the legislation that affect individual taxpayers, sole proprietors, and small business corporations and partnerships.

Who should attend: Business and individual income tax preparers.
