By the end of this webinar tax professionals will:

  • Be aware of the changes in tax rates, standard deductions and personal exemptions as well as the changes to Schedule A - itemized deductions. These items together are the building blocks for many if not most of the returns we prepare. 
  • Be aware of the adjustments to income which will no longer be allowed including Moving Expenses and Alimony
  • Be aware of the intricacies of the 20% deduction available for qualified business income
  • Be aware of the significant decrease in corporation tax rates
  • Understand the significant change to Estate tax
  • Be aware of the new credits and modifications to existing credits for both personal and business
  • Be aware of the significant increase of expensing under code section 179 and the lowering of taxes generally on business income
  • Be in a position to advise clients how the Tax Cuts and Job Act could possibly affect them.
