CHECKPOINT LEARNING® > Certificate Programs
Compilation and review standards have changed. Are you keeping up?
The tax and accounting world has faced a whirlwind of change in the last several years — including changes to SSARS and how CPAs prepare financial statements. The AICPA Accounting and Review Services Committee’s issuance of SSARS 21 revised the standards for reviews, compilations and engagements to prepare financial statements. Keeping up with the latest SSARS changes is important for peer review implications and also provides opportunities to streamline business.
With the Checkpoint Learning Compilation and Review Certificate Program from Thomson Reuters, new practitioners can learn the background and basics, and experienced practitioners can be assured they are up to date on the most current guidance and practice issues.
This program provides details and practice issues relating to these standards so you can better understand their impact on your engagements. It explores all four sections of SSARS 21 as well as SSARS 22 and 23, highlights the changes from previous standards and provides examples of how to incorporate the standards into your engagements.
The full program is comprised of seven interactive online courses that provide a detailed overview of compilation, review and preparation issues plus a comprehensive web-based final exam to test understanding of core concepts. Candidates in need of continuing education will be able to earn 30 CPE credits.
