QuickBooks Pro 2015 - Setting Up
This course uses an audio-visual format with demonstrations. This course is designed to explore setting up QuickBooks 2015 and is divided in to three parts. In Part 1 of this course, we explore QuickBooks product lines, categories, versions, and features; network or standalone setup issues; and how to determine if QuickBooks is the right answer for a particular organization. In Part 2 of this course, we explore how to start the process of creating a new QuickBooks Company Data file using the Setup or No Company Open window; how to use the EasyStep Interview or the Express Start process to create a new QuickBooks Company Data file; and how to enter company information into QuickBooks. In Part 3 of this course, we explore the basic elements of the QuickBooks Desktop and Home Page and how to navigate both; how to determine the difference between QuickBooks User and Company Preferences; how to set or customize Preferences; and general recommendations for Preference settings.
Upon successful completion of QuickBooks Pro 2015 - Setting Up, the user should be able to:
identify the categories and versions of QuickBooks and compare featured of the various editions,
recognize the companies that QuickBooks is best suited and recommend the best setup for single and multiuser environments.
identify how to enter the company information into QuickBooks and the options for creating the data file,
describe the basic elements of the QuickBooks Desktop and Home Page, and
identify how to personalize the QuickBooks users and company preferences.
