Microsoft Word 2010 - Getting Started with Word
Microsoft Word 2010 - Getting Started with Word is a three-lesson basic level course that guides you through opening, creating, formatting, previewing, printing, and saving text documents. The Word 2010 Office Fluent user interface, first introduced with Office 2007, is very different from the Word 2003 (and earlier Word versions) user interface. Therefore, you must use Word 2010 to complete this course. Although this is a basic level course, experienced Word users switching to Word 2010 will also benefit from this course, which can help them become more familiar with the Word 2010 Office Fluent user interface and the new Backstage view feature.
Upon successful completion of Microsoft Word 2010 - Getting Started with Word, the user should be able to:
recognize key elements of the working environment,
identify tools used to format, proof, and manipulate text, and
recognize alternatives available to modify the layout of a document.
