Many wage earners have IRA investments. Are wage earners up on the numerous changes that Congress made to IRAs? This course is intended to integrate the specific tax laws as well as Treasury interpretations with respect to contributions to, transfers to and between, distributions from, and the excise tax rules that are applicable to traditional IRAs. Finally, the course provides and illustrates the reporting requirements for IRAs. The course includes the provisions provided by recent legislation, including but not limited to the impact of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, SECURE Act of 2019, CARES Act of 2020, Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 (CAA, 2021), and the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA).
