Fraud Detection in Financial Statements: Considerations for Accountants and Auditors
This webinar explores fraud considerations that accountants and auditors of private and publicly traded companies face in preparing and/or performing attest services on financial statements. The practitioner will be introduced to common characteristics of the individuals most likely to commit fraud and actions to identify them. This webinar will also review the most common types of corporate fraud and suggest policies and procedures to prevent them from taking place. By exploring fraud scenarios, the practitioner will gain insights into trouble-shooting potential real-life fraud; including fraudulent financial reporting, theft, employee fraud, investment fraud and fraud committed by third parties.
