Traditional audits were conducted in a manual environment, which involved many hours of fieldwork and a whole lot of paper. As technology has evolved, auditors now audit, not only through the computer, but many times they have electronic access to the client's files. That electronic access allows for more effective and efficient audits. This course is designed for those just making the move to paperless auditing.
Upon successful completion of Continuous and Paperless Auditing, the user should be able to:
explain the advantages of using paperless audits,
discuss how client assistance can be improved through paperless auditing,
describe the key to implementing a paperless audit environment, and
discuss the challenges to converting to a paperless audit environment.
