The objectives of this program are to provide CPAs with a better understanding of the mediation process and to encourage CPAs to more actively seek out appropriate roles for themselves when they have the opportunity to participate in a mediation.
This basic level course is most beneficial to professionals new to this topic who may be at the staff or entry level in organization but also for a seasoned professional with limited exposure to this topic.
Upon successful completion of this course, the user should be able to:
identify the differences between mediation, arbitration, and litigation,
recognize the advantages of mediation over other forms of dispute resolution, and
recognize the CPA's role in mediation.
