This course takes a look at the unique attributes of Millennials and how businesses can leverage those preferences to improve recruitment, engagement, and retention of this generation. Topics include the Millennial point of view, Millennials at work, finding Millennial job candidates, what Millennials look for in an employer, ways to keep Millennials engaged, and how businesses can improve their physical office space to be more appealing to Millennials.
Upon successful completion of this course, the user should be able to:
identify the common characteristics of the Millennial generation, as well as the strengths they bring to and the challenges they face in the workplace;
identify the best ways to find Millennial job candidates and what they look for in a potential employer; and
identify methods for keeping Millennial employees engaged and the different types of work spaces that appeal to them.
