For an entrepreneur, owner, and business executive, the fulfillment of a professional career is to create, build, lead, and support a business in its journey to become great. To do this, we need to define greatness. Greatness is a process that can take time. All of these points can provide the company with the label great. This program discusses how companies become great via strategic management and through a heuristic and transformative approach.
Upon successful completion of this course, the user should be able to:
recognize the three leading differentiators of GREAT companies for all businesses and industries (culture, brand, and innovation);
identify ten strategic scientific management programs that GREAT companies implement to improve business processes, efficiency, productivity, and decision making;
recognize how people contribute to the three differentiators to become a GREAT company; and
identify the attributes of a transformative leader and competitive-advantaged firms.
