Crowdfunding continues to grow in popularity as a means of generating the necessary capital to fund all sorts of projects and businesses. This fundraising method gives an individual or entity the ability to bypass the standard means of raising money for a new venture-such as bank loans or venture capital. There's no dilution of ownership, board oversight, or mandatory financial reporting requirements to the contributors. This course gives an overview of crowdfunding and basic accounting considerations.
This overview course may be appropriate for professionals at all organizational levels.
