The purpose of this course is to identify the need and scope of effective internal operating controls to ensure profitable and successful business operations. The focus of the course is to relate the necessity of internal operating controls to the business as to how it operates in today's competitive environment with large national and small businesses. It explains the use of internal operating controls as a helping system, turning a traditional non-value added cost into a profit center. In addition, it addresses the manner in which to provide helpful effective internal operating controls - as both an internal and external advisor - in a value added manner using best practices.
