This course provides complete and current coverage of the topics of accounting and reporting of pensions and required disclosures in employer's financial statements as specified in the FASB's Accounting Standards Codification. This course also covers the accounting and reporting by the defined benefit plan. It includes quotations from the Accounting Standards Codification that are used with permission. This basic-level course is most beneficial to professionals new to accounting for pensions. However, it may also benefit an experienced professional with limited exposure to this topic.
