This program is designed to help build, support, and improve boards of directors along ten different dimensions including board development, processes, operations, and evaluation. It incorporates new laws, studies, litigation matters and changes in the operations of major boards throughout the country. This program also will show how to bullet proof a board of directors and will guide a member in becoming a proficient board member. This course is designed to let boards of directors and their individual members know where the bar stands today in assessing success and failure of boards of directors and board members. This basic level course is most beneficial to professionals new to boards of directors who may be at the staff or entry level in organization but also for a seasoned professional with limited exposure to this topic.

recognize the procedures occurring during the life cycle of a grant, starting with pre-award planning and ending with procedures to conclude the grant program, and
identify the sources of federal cost principles for grants.
