This course is required for supervisors and all employees who work for Connecticut employers with three or more employees. The course covers the Connecticut sexual harassment training requirements, and it examines the types of workplace conduct that are considered unlawful discrimination and harassment. It also explains what supervisors, managers, and non-supervisory employees in Connecticut should do to avoid or minimize incidents of discrimination and harassment in the workplace. It is recommended as a training tool to reduce the risk of legal liability that employers face for violations of federal, state, and local workplace discrimination and harassment laws. This course satisfies the sexual harassment training requirements for Connecticut supervisory and non-supervisory employees.

Upon successful completion of this course, the user should be able to:
recall the relevant federal and Connecticut laws related to harassment,
recite the conduct that should be prohibited in any organization's harassment policies as well as the duties such policies should impose on supervisory and non-supervisory employees,
express the ability to respond appropriately when misconduct is observed or when an employee complains about harassment-type conduct,
express how to avoid retaliation, and
express how to conduct or assist with an investigation if asked.
