NASBA and QAS logoEBIA Webinars from Checkpoint Learning are a part of Checkpoint Learning (formerly “Practitioners Publishing Company” or “PPC”). Checkpoint Learning Webinars are group-internet-based delivery method. Unless otherwise stated in each course's descriptive information, no other prerequisites or advanced preparation are required.
Checkpoint Learning is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: NASBAregistry.org.
Checkpoint Learning is also approved for 'QAS Self Study' designation.

Attorneys

EBIA has been approved by the California, Missouri and Washington Bar Associations as a provider of CLE (Continuing Legal Education) activities for its live Checkpoint Learning webinars. In most cases, other Bar Associations allow attorneys to apply on an individual basis for CLE course approvals.

For its live, in-person seminars, EBIA only applies for approval of continuing education credit for insurance professionals and attorneys in a very limited number of states. Call us at 800.431.9025 for details about CE or CLE credit availability for your state. Note that some state agencies limit credit if you previously attended the same seminar, some agencies do not pre-approve courses for individual attendees (only at the sponsor level), and credit is not available in all states. (The recorded versions of our in-person seminars are not submitted for pre-approval for any category of continuing education.)
